Title:

“Nurturing SMEs: building trust in markets and ensuring they get a fair deal”

Date:

1 October 2019, 12:45-14:15

Locations:

Rolls Suite, The Midland Hotel, 16 Peter St, Manchester, M60 2DS (secure zone)

Our panel will discuss how the market and operating environment for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME)s can be designed to ensure that SMEs get a fair deal and prosper. Particularly given their important role in a post-Brexit economy.

The panel will address the current growth obstacles faced by SMEs in the UK and the need to build trust from SME’s in the market in order to drive UK business growth. They will discuss how the infrastructure SMEs operate in can be adapted to enable entrepreneurs and business owners to focus on running their businesses, the lack of ombudsman coverage for SMEs and the difficulties SMEs subsequently face when confronted with legal costs.
