Understand and unlock the data insights in your monthly reports - Training Module

This half day workshop will help you to understand and better use the SLP, outcomes and signposting reports that Ombudsman Services provide monthly*. Report by report, you’ll be taken through the data to learn what it means and what trends to look out for in the context of a 13-month, sector specific window. Also included is time to review what the data can tell you about complaints in the sector as a whole. The session will also give an explanation of terminology and in the practical session you’ll be encouraged to think about how Ombudsman Services data can be used to complement in house and/or open source data and make improvements.

The session includes both face to face and digital training and will be conducted by a member of the Ombudsman Services Business Intelligence team, with Account Development Consultants also present to support, take questions and assist with the practical session. Data and insights are presented on topics such as complaint volumes, complaint types and case outcomes.

Level: Beginner to intermediate

Suggested attendees: Complaints team managers, operational managers, customer service managers or equivalent.

Please note:

• Session uses example reports. Any data used in the sessions will be anonymised not real. Sessions will cater for sector specific members.

• Some previous experience of Ombudsman Services Case Management System (CMS) and the reporting suite preferred.

• This session does not cover analysis of the CMS dashboard data.

• Available for members only.

• *Member companies that have nine or more complaints per month receive monthly SLP reports.

Ombudsman resolves more complaints as demand increases
